The Skye Museum of Island Life is situated in Kilmuir, a short drive round the coastline. This amazing group of thatched cottages portrays life on the island as it was many years ago. Beside the Museum, you can visit Flora Macdonald’s grave who helped Bonnie Prince Charlie escape to France during the Jacobite Rebellion. It is definitely a place not to be missed.

Caledonian MacBrayne operates a ferry service from Uig where you could take a leisurely cruise across to the Western Isles for the day. During the Summer months, they host evening ceilidh cruises which is great entertainment for all the family.

The pleated skirt of the famous Kilt Rock, the haunting peaks of the Quirang and the Old Man of Storr beckon the walkers and climbers.

As smoking is not permitted in the bedrooms or dining room, you may smoke in the Lounge.

Private parking.
